Maxi Dresses in a Capsule Wardobe

I've got one of my maxi dresses on today, trying to dress like it's summer and I recorded this video talking about how to use maxi dresses in a capsule wardrobe.

I found I loved wearing a maxi dress last summer and, when I buy them, I look for ones with patterns that complement my colour palette - then I can choose to wear them with tops that pick out particular colours so I create multiple outfits that I can wear as part of a capsule wardrobe that allows you to buy fewer clothes but wear more of them.  You won't be standing in front of the wardrobe wailing "I haven't got a thing to wear!"

In the summer, as we approach holiday season, that's even more important to know about if you need to pack light to avoid extra baggage charges.

What about you, do you love a maxi dress?  And do you know how to create a capsule wardrobe?

I'd love to hear your comments on this post
